New Cat

Rainstar emerged from her den, leaping onto the Great Tree.

"Today, we have a cat joining us. Her name is Whispersong, and respect her like you respect your kin."

The cats below cheered.

"Whispersong!!! Whispersong!!! Whispersong!!!"

Rainstar smiled at her growing and progressing Clan, then jumped down to her den. She stopped right at the entrance.

"Wait!!" she called. "I have three Apprentice ceremonies to perform." She put stress on the word "Apprentice."

Firekit, Mousekit, and Jaykit all came bundling out of the Leader's Den, their fur clumsily smoothed. They sat in a straight line before their mother.

"These young cats have reached their sixth moon (Use your imagination), and they are ready to be Apprenticed. Firekit, please step forward."

The orange kit moved from his place to stand before Rainstar.

"Firekit, from this day until you receive your Warrior Name, you shall be known as Firepaw. Lightningstrike!! You have wanted and deserve this honor, so you shall mentor young Firepaw. Teach him your courage and your strength."

Mentor and Apprentice touch noses, then move to the side.

"Mousekit, from this day you shall be known as Mousepaw. Thunderstorm!! You shall mentor little Mousepaw. Teach him your quickness and your caring."

They touched noses, then moved away.

"And Jaykit, you shall be known as Jaypaw. Starlight, you have only been with us for a short time, but you shall mentor Jaypaw. Teach her your love and your bravery."

They gently touch noses, both quivering with excitement.

"Now, I trust that is all." Rainstar mewed, then jumped down.

"Firepaw!! Mousepaw!! Jaypaw!! Firepaw!! Mousepaw!! Jaypaw!!"

Medicine Cat Apprentice

Rainstar padded to the mouth of her den, leaping from there to the Great Branch.

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather here beneath the Great Tree for a Clan announcement."

The cats assembled below her, settling in.

"I am pleased to announce that we now have a Medicine Cat Apprentice, Pebblepaw. Treat her with your greatest respects and kindness, for one day she may save your life."

"Pebblepaw!! Pebblepaw!! Pebblepaw!!"

Newcomer

Rainstar leaped into her perch in the Great Tree, turning towards the clearing.

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather here beneath the Great Tree for a welcome announcement."

The cats streamed out of the dens, gathering below the tree.

"Today, we have Starlight joining us. She will be Snakeclaw's, if she so chooses. Please welcome her among us."

"Starlight!! Starlight!! Starlight!!"

Rainstar waited for the cheering to die down.

"And, I will allow FallenClan Medicine Cats to have a mate and kits, if they so choose. Please do not make me regret my big decision."

The cheering rose again, and Rainstar leaped down and disappeared into her den.

The Beginning

Rainstar jumped to the Great Tree, her fur ruffled.

"Let all cats gather beneath the Great Tree."

All of the Clan cats assembled, casting glances at the bodies of Prowlfang and Lionclaw.

"Today we have lost two of our Warriors, Prowlfang and Lionclaw, to an unknown creature. They were found dead on our border with the Dark Forest." Rainstar said sadly. "They will be greatly missed, and some will sit vigil for..."
She was cut off by cats running through the tunnel entrance. They were torn, bloody, and young by the looks of it.

"Sorry to interrupt, but may my friends join your Clan?"asked a handsome black tom. "I'm Titan."
The cats went down the row, stating their names when it was their turn.
"Spark." meowed a ginger tom.
"Leaf." meowed a tabby she-cat. "Spark and I are brother and sister."
"Snake." spoke the black and white tom.
"Dove." purred a white and brown she-cat.
"You know my name." Titan meowed.
Last, and maybe least, the little brown tom spoke quietly. "I-I don't have a name."

Rainstar was bewildered by the cats. After staring long and hard at Titan, she made her decision.
"You and your cats may join FallenClan. That is what this Clan for, protecting the lost."

The new cats cheered merrily, while the Clan cats joined in.

"And now they must recieve their proper names." Rainstar yowled, leaping down from the perch. "Let the younger ones step forward first."
Dove and the brown tom came toward Rainstar, unafraid of the gentle Leader.

"Dove, from this day until you recieve your Warrior name you shall be know as Dovepaw. Sparrowflight!! You will mentor Dovepaw."
Dovepaw gently touched noses with Sparrowflight, trembling with excitement. They both stepped aside.

"You, my little one, shall be known as Stonepaw until you recieve your Warrior name. Hawkeye, you will mentor little Stonepaw."
They carefully touched noses with each other, then stepped away.

"Let the other cats who accompanied them step up."

Spark, Snake, and Leaf step proudly forward.

"Spark, you shall be known as Sparktail. Snake, you shall be known as Snakeclaw. Leaf, you shall be known as Leafbreeze. Titan, you shall be known as..."

"Actually Rainstar, I just wanted to bring my friends here. I'm not staying." Titan meowed, then turned to his astonished friends. "I'm sorry guys. But I'll come and visit. I'm going to live in the mountains." Then he padded out, leaving them there.

Rainstar blinked.
"Umm... StarClan welcomes you as full Warriors of FallenClan."

Everyone in the clearing cheered their excitement, congratulating and welcoming the new arrivals.

"That is all. Please sit vigil for Prowlfang and Lionclaw." Rainstar crouched beside Prowlfang's dead body, pushing her nose into his cold fur.
